Wilkommen an Meine Deutschen Freunde

It's been a while since I've dropped a note to readers in a country where all of a sudden the readership of this site has spiked.

I'm very grateful when a new set of readers appears, and I want to thank the new group that has arisen in Germany this week. It's a pleasure to see you and wish you well.

Please consider pouring a cold one and going back in the archives -- there are over 1,100 articles here going back to 2014, and reading them forward can be a very interesting tracking of history from that time to now, particularly the first 1,000 or so that were written every working day. We covered politics, sports, entertainment, and just life in general. You'll enjoy it.

More important, though, is that I'd like to hear from you -- how you found the site, what you like and dislike, how happy you are that there are no ads on this site, etc. Contact information is in the bio. I'd really like you to reach out!

And thanks for reading. Danke sehr.

There are over 1,000 posts from Bob at www.uberthoughtsUSA.com and, after four years of writing a new one daily, he still posts thoughts once in a while as "visiting columns", no longer the "prolific essayist" he was through 2018, but still around. Appearance, advertising, sponsorship and interview inquiries cheerfully welcomed at bsutton@alum.mit.edu or on Twitter at @rmosutton.
